1 door closes another 1 opens.....

As some of you know, i separated from my partner 2yrs ago. We were together almost 9yrs. We put our house up for sale right after we separated.

Fast forward 2yrs to June/09.......... I got not 1, not 2 but 3 offers within a 2week span. 2 were offers for the house! Finally! The 3rd was an offer for a promotion from my company! I will be the new FSM for the new england states. As im standing here typing this message, and yawning, I will close the laptop and crawl into bed. I will wake at 11pm CDT and begin the 20hr drive to the Boston area.

They say all things happen for a reason.............

Best wishes on the new chapter in your life and welcome to the New England area. Let me share the same sentiments as Chuck & Rich in welcoming you to this area. Since I'm about 45 minutes away from them, I expect to see you at our next New England get together.

Like you, my 11-year relationship ended almost 3 years ago. After going through all the usual anger and depression, things started to get better and now I enjoy my life the way it is! There is "life after divorce."

Thank you all for your kind words of encouragement. Its been a long week. Im only half way settled. All my furniture is still on its way, the internet/cable doesnt come til the 7th, company van, x-fer licences, and mail, and have to buy an electric dryer lol. I found a place to rent in Auburn for a year or so. Figure at that point i can re-evaluate where i am, and decide what part of town i would prefer. I still have to go to Cali next week for work.

Will keep everyone posted as i learn more.
