1968 Whirlpool laundry models. LSA8900 is an Imperial, not Mark XII, with separate speed selection via a rotary knob. Two-speed motor so four selections: High/High, High/Low, Low/Low, Low/High. The feature chart states it as "Flexible selection washing" which is attributed to the Imperial and the Imperial Mark XII.
There's typographical error in the chart. "Automatic spin top" presumably should be "Automatic spin stop" (lid switch).
The dryers are all gas models. Interesting that they published a separate brochure for laundry pairs with gas dryers vs. electric dryers.
