1968 Whirlpool laundry models.  LSA8900 is an Imperial, not Mark XII, with separate speed selection via a rotary knob.  Two-speed motor so four selections:  High/High, High/Low, Low/Low, Low/High.  The feature chart states it as "Flexible selection washing" which is attributed to the Imperial and the Imperial Mark XII.

There's typographical error in the chart.  "Automatic spin top" presumably should be "Automatic spin stop" (lid switch).

The dryers are all gas models.  Interesting that they published a separate brochure for laundry pairs with gas dryers vs. electric dryers.

LSA6700 is the next-year version of Ted's 1967 LRA6700.

The dryers are all gas models

Many manufacturers made a brochure only showing the gas dryers because this was the brochure that was passed out by your local gas supplier when they were promoting gas appliances.

Back in the 50s and 60s there was pretty intense competition between the electric utilities and the gas utilities trying to get you to buy either electric ranges, dryers air conditioning etc. from either the electric company or your gas supplier.
