I have every reason to believe that I knew this very stove when it was in the hands of a good biker friend who lived in Sebastopol and was cleaning and tuning it up to sell, back in the early '80s.  I don't recall how or where he got his hands on it.  He had a nose for primo stuff.  It was just too new for him to want to keep it and use it.

I think this is my favorite stove of all time.  It has it all and does it in Betty Boop's dancing kitchen style, and those knobs seem inspired by the Rockettes.  I tried to find it a home with my cousins since it was right up their alley and they were in the market, but they found something closer to home.

It would take a Magic Chef like this, along with a big budget for a major kitchen remodel, for me to own a vintage stove again.

It appears to be in some sort of co-op environment, and contrary to the ad copy, has indeed been sitting for months at its current asking price.

There are several other pictures posted with the ad.
