a load of shirts, after sitting still for three plus years, she works like a charm, no issues :)

nahhh!!!

Hi Eddie, your more than welcome for the parts, hope they help !! and hahaha, maybe still have "the bug" a tiny bit, just thought I would fire up the old EASY, not sure what got me to do it or what made me think of it. Its been sitting still for a LONG time and its good to get it running for a bit. Its a really cool machine ! I love the engineering concept and thought from back then.

Nice! Now that's vintage!

These had such a cool design. My grandmother had one of these and I am pretty sure she said it washed well. I just wish that she had kept it!

Wow - I had only ever seen a machine like this once in a museum. Nice restoration!!
Hmmm....could the 'suction cup' agitator have been the inspiration for the Frigidaire pulsators???

cleaning

it actually is good at cleaning and there is a spin tub attached, no wringer. Not a spec of plastic to be found. All metal parts. It is all original, not restored. I am the second owner. I don't think it was used much or was very well taken care of. Even the original cord is in amazing condition.

only one I kept ... ...

I got rid of all my washers except for the 70's 20 lb. commercial bolt-down Norge and the '31 EASY because its such a rare working machine in such nice shape. I did also keep three vintage dishwashers and thats it. I tend to take a peak on the website once every other month at best but crazy as it seems, I don't have "the bug" like I use to, that is for sure, but i certainly haven't shaken it off completely :)

Hi Greg

It is good to see you back in the discussion threads.

I'm proud to say that part of your collection has joined my Dishwasher collection - the brand new G.E. Electric Sink (1949?)

When I was in MA back on April 29th, I had the pleasure to see this Easy Washer. It's so cool to see it running. Thanks for putting the video of it up.

Mike

Great video Greg! I always loved your 1931 Easy! Such a cool looking machine with a unique wash action.

Good to see you post again too!
