I am clearing out some storage and offering this for sale. It's been in my family since 1957. It runs and cools fine. I am asking $125.00. It's not perfect, but it's clean. I want it to go to a good home.
The flaws that I see are that the chrome trim at the bottom of both sides is pitted. The handle also could stand to be re-chromed. The plastic cover over one of the crisper drawers is cracked.
The kick plate has some chips from my mother standing on it to look in the freezer as a little girl.
The fridge is 29" wide and 57" tall and in St. Louis, MO.
But its a 51 or 52, not a 50, The 50 had a round chrome piece on the door and a horizontal handle with an external latch, These are wonderful fridges with the Meter Miser rotary compressor that will run just about forever.
