Does anyone have burner switches to fit this range? They were made by GE and are just like the old 50's GE switches except they had an extra button. The controls were simmer, very low, low, medium low, medium, medium high, high, and of course off. And what about the oven thermostat? Are they still available, or is there a company that can rebuild them? I know mine is a Robertshaw.

maybe

The site below also does electric ranges. They rebuild Robert Shaw thermostats (although the odds are good that a modern one would do you, see the universal replacements at www.repairclinic.com, for instance.)
I have seen those old pushbuttons, gosh they were kinda neat and much more flexible than the six button infinites which came later. Unfortunately, I don't know of a source for the eight heat setting units. Didn't they actually use a mixture of 110/220V to get all that range (halve the voltage, cut the heating by 3/4)? Anyway, give antique gas stoves a ring and see - if they rebuild thermostats, maybe they can do the pushbuttons.
Pictures are always helpful (and fun to look at, the entire range sounds interesting).
You might also try calling around. It is astonishing what some older appliance stores still have. There is one in Cheyenne that sold me parts for an ice-maker (GE even) which has been off the market since the 1970's...and the appliance repair shops all said they hadn't had the stuff and couldn't/wouldn't order it...
