I have an old gas range that I want to have checked and serviced before using. I live in Connecticut. Does anyone have a recommendation for someone who works on these old appliances?

Ken, that was a very nice stove in its day. Does the left side have either a broiler or heater from the extra knob? I assume everything is lighted by a pilot. I saw some of those same stoves here as a kid and the housewife kept them pristine. If you dared to, with it in a safe area outside that could have a bbq tank and long hose hooked up and soaping everything to make sure nothing had a leak and then you would know if any bubbles formed there was a problem before actually lighting pilots and seeing if burners worked.

One thing for sure
It will bake better than ANYTHING today because this has a modulating flame oven control, the temperature control is much more precise than anything ever devised!

Yes it is what they called a "gas & gas" stove. Left side heater and oven on the right!
