Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

That's an RS-60. It appears to be in very good cosmetic condition. I'll have to say, though, that $400 seems a bit steep for a collector that wanted to continue using this stove. The replacement elements for these 3-wire Radiantube burners are precious hard to find. Now, if someone simply wanted it as a movie prop...

I guess we'll see what the market will bear.

Yes, that's it RM-10

I got it several years ago from a friend of Dave (Volvoguy87). It was in an auxilery kitchen that was being taken out. My thermiser is from a RJ-60 (1947), because my brick open coil heating element was broken and the pot was missing. I found a guy in Michigan (I think) who had the RJ-60 he was going to scrap. It's a shame it wasn't closer, it was a beautiful stove. The RJ-60 fit perfectly in the spot, despite being deeper and smaller in diameter than the RM-10. I also got a box full of extra parts from the RJ-60 (including the manual). I also have a manual for a 1954 Frigidare that was my great-aunts, though I am unsure the model.

By 1953/1954, Frigidare had updated the design to be able to raise a coil burner from the bottom to be a 4th burner on the stove or lower it to be a deep well. This is far more versitile than the earler version (mine), I use the one large burner all the time. Two would be helpful. That's my only complaint with the stove though, otherwise it's a great performer. :)

Since we're discussing stoves... As a random side noteI also have a 1958 Kenmore gas range in the garage. It's still hooked up. The original owners of my house had it installed to can goods from their garden. I love the look and it's in decent shape too! :) Great for summertime cooking in the garage, though it needs a little tlc. It will get it one of these days. :)

I have a model rm10 5420286. Not sure of the year but I know it is at least 1949. Has a left side & a bottom storage drawer but no longer has the original clock but there are slots on the top.
