1954(?) GE refrigerator on Reno C/L

A bottom mount refrigerator. Not that bad looking I guess but at $1500? Not THAT good looking or is this actually worth what a C/L seller wants? LOL!

I think it's a '55.  And that's about all I'd pay for it.

I think you're correct, Ralph - 1955.  Actually in nice condition with the exception of the cabinet, and a rather rare piece.  1955 was the first year for GE's bottom mount and was the only year with the mechanical latch on the refrigerator compartment.  And this one has all of it's parts.  Still - rots o' ruck with that price.

I will have to say this is the first time I've ever seen a GE with bottom freezer that's pre '57. Didn't know they made them before the restyling.

Ralph is correct about the age it is from 1955

 and this was GE's first bottom mount freezer combo...PAT COFFEY
