A BobLoading challenge for sure

Well, there sure is plenty of space between the plates.

 

That's an issue on my late model Miele.  Plates are racked so close together that tines just slightly out of whack can cause some to make contact, depending on the type of plate, and as a result cleaning can be compromised.

The only problem

With these old Hotpoints, is you have to wear ear protection when they are running....Really though, they clean as good as anything made today, better than most.

GE and Hotpoint

and I think Westinghouse reached a design peak from 1958-1964. Any appliance from that period from them looks up to date today. Especially the refrigerators, but this DW is a great example of that.

I knew

A family in my hometown that had a similar machine, when they got a new Hotpoint in the late 70s they always said the old one cleaned better.

Never seen one like that, I sure hope you get it! Offer a replacement, that is how I got a couple rare ones!

Can't. What a cool, really great looking and neat-featured system.

I love the panel, the interior, and whatever decibels it possesses. I don't mind a

louder dishwasher, personally when it's an old girl like this one.

Hope you get this and thanks for once again presenting a relic of distinction.

I remember that one

That was the first dishwasher my dad got my mom.This was the at the same time we had the 56 Bendix Duomatic and the 58 Gas Economy Philco Bendix Duomatic.Im sure I have this dishwasher in a photo in moms kitchen.I often look for this dishwasher online.Mom also had a 40''HOTPOINT electric Stove in Pink.
