Wow!  That's in great shape and not outrageously priced!  Funny how antique stores are often more reasonable on their prices for vintage appliances than most of the wanna-be millionaires advertising on craigslist... sigh.
 
It is amazing the depth of that tank versus the size of the builtin tank. I can stand baking sheets upright if I take out one of the side top racks. You can almost pile in stuff like loading a top loading washer. I run it through one wash to warm up the tank and load then advance the timer to "OFF"  and let it start again. I put detergent on a flat lid so that I can add it after the purge without lifting  the cover too high and losing too much heat and let it run the short full cycle of a 5 minute wash and two one minute rinses which is, I think, the cycle of the KD11 builtin. The double wall tank holds heat well.
