I found these last Summer, and they came from an old basement in Michigan. The motor and pump were frozen up,and from the general condition they were in,I would guess they had sat unused for 30+ years. These were finished, and in my basement over a month ago, however I did not have the photos ready until now. (sorry about that)

Tear down

Kind of dirty, but not rusty. Needs all new hoses, pump, belts and seals. I had the appliance parts place replace the oil seals, and I did the rest of the work. (My friend painted the cabinets.)

Scrapped the gas dryer for parts

Saved the top and control panel to use on an electric dryer

And the pump still leaks....

So we buy a new poly pump! (and I KNEW that was going to happen!) Glad we were still out in the garage for the flood.

I left this photo too big deliberately. Note the detail in the suspention system. Those small bolts in the spring brackets adjust the spring load. After you level the machine, you adjust these so the spin basket is in line with the opening in the top. (I found this out after tightening these bolts all down all the way,and then leveling the machine... It was WAY off)

And the electric dryer is easy,

Just r&r the cabinet for painting, and switch the top. (As I had overhauled the dryer last Winter.)

Brand new Power Fin in here???

Yes is is... Because the appliance shop broke the geyrator. Anyone have the correct geyrator you want to sell?
