I am helping to clean out the house of a 98 year old woman who recently passed away, so her estate can be settled. She and her husband built their house in 1957, never moved, and never threw much of anything away. We have to clean the house out so it can be sold. I'm hoping somebody can give this old beauty a new home. Cosmetically it's in great shape and nothing appears to be broken. The drum turns under power and the dial lights up. The light bar didn't light up the one time I tried. I didn't check to see if the element heated up. I'll get some pictures the next time I'm there, but it looks like the pic attached here.
There is also a powder-blue Westinghouse dehumidifier that looks to be from the 1960's, and a window air conditioner of about the same vintage. I haven't checked to see if either of these work, but cosmetically they are very good.
I am asking $100 for the dryer, and I would throw in the others as a bonus if you're interested. I'm open to offers.
The items are located in Waterloo, IA.
