"I guess we could hook them up and test them"

but that wont be necessary, Mr Seller, because they are in "mint condition".

does everybody here believe they are "mint condition"??

Those are beautiful!
Lovely colour.
I love aqua / turquoise and pink also (of course!). They are my favourite type of Maytag washer. Are these called Highlanders?

Two Turquoise matched washer and dryer sets coming up for sale now... In six months, I'd have somewhere to put them... SIGH...

I am going to get them this week. Yay, I love the midwest with all or basements to keep cool stuff in.

Chris,

You already have a Westy set! I am much better at the accumulation part of collecting than the restoration part, lol.

I'll post fridge pics whenever I can take all my vacation and get any of my projects done.

Come give me some hugs in person sometime. :-)

well yea i have a westy set but they would like to have some new friends .. or my tag set would like to have new friends too.. youll have to let us know how the tags run. you can set those up for every day use.. how cool would that be

Every washer wants to live with you Chris. I'll let you know. Hmmm, you can come help get them off my truck and we can run them!

Hey Chris and Travis!

Hey boys when are we going to get together? We could have our own mini wash-in here in St. Louis.........and since Chris has more machines than i do we could have it it at his place.....(you can beat me later Chris!) <EG>
Mark

I'll come see Chris anytime. He still hasn't replied to helping me install these tags. Come on Chris, they might get wet!

Travis if Chris is "pre-occupied" i'll lend you a "hand" or two..........LOL

pick a sat and have some bbq and do some laundry.

Sounds like a good time to me! Chris, you ready for our vacation in July? It's going to be a lot of fun.......can't wait!
See ya down there!
Mark

Okay guys, lets get this on the calendar! Chris, I just found an email to you that bounced back. Will call you.
Those maytags in KC are great! Headed there this weekend and tried to snag them but missed out. Glad someone local is getting them!

I got them home! I am so work out from the drive. While I was there, the owner found the manuals. You just have to love 60's ladies showing off their clothing on the covers.

Now to find a couple hunky men to move them to the basement. I'll post pics tomorrow.

Thank you Roy

Got them unloaded. They're in nice shape. I have to wire a receptacle for the dryer. My last dryer was gas.

Travis, those are just beautiful machines. I am so happy that you were able to get them. I know that they will bring a smile to your face for many years to come. Terry

I got wiring supplies for the dryer and new hoses for the washer. I took the front panel off the washer to see what sort of nastiness was in there. I was shocked to see a pretty clean washer. I have the bulb for the tub light in my pocket. Where do I get those? The water inlet valve is a bit chewed up also. I ran out of time and had to stop playing until later tonight.
