1959 Frigidaire elect stove

Hello all. A friend has this clean 1959 Frigidaire elect stove he wants to give away for FREE to a loving home. Its all working and looks like new. Its located in CT and must be removed by Memorial Day though. Seems he had a taker and they backed out. Please email me direct for quicker replies. Lets find this a home soon before it gets toseed. Frigidaire started using that cabinet style in '64, and it was used until GM sold off Frigidaire in '80. The control panel design tends to indicate this is early in the run.

One of the users here once commented on the ’64 line, “Certainly not my favorite, but some out there may like them.”  I think he was referring to the styling of the panels, and he liked the later models better than this one.


 

I don’t really agree.  I like the look of the <strong>’64s, but I wonder if I</strong>’m in the minority.

The oval clock was a change from the rectangular clock and before that there were round clocks, but Frigidaire had to monkey around with styling to keep their designers busy.
