1959 Lady Kenmore Wringer Washer

Hi all!

I have a 1959 Lady Kenmore Wringer Washer that is missing it's pump. My grandfather cut it out and put a continuous line to the drain pipe. I would love to restore this machine to original and I am seeking advice as to how and what I can find to help in this process.

I wish I could help, but I don't know where to get parts for Visimatics. Maybe someone else will help you. Any chance Gramps stashed the pump somewhere? Good Luck and welcome to Automatic Washer.

One option (assuming you don't find a pump) would be to retrofit another type of pump, or even a newer electric pump.

If you could find a salvage yard of some kind that may have an old KM/WP in that that may have a pump that was not frozen, I would guess e/bay or googling the pump is about your only other options. If the gravity drain works ok, I'd leave it.
