Hahahahaha

I have only noticed that the clock does not work and otherwise is in complete working order.

Further proof of my suspicions of the universe.

I'm convinced that no Frigidaire ranges with working clocks exist!

I cannot say that I've ever seen a vintage range with a clock that works. Yes, some of them may in fact move, but they won't keep time any longer than a few days without having to reset them. Still, this is a very nice looking stove. I'm not a big fan of pink, but it still has that classy, futuristic look that Frigidaires have

BZZZZ! Wrong!

My '59 Frigidaire Custom Imperial range HAS a working clock! I'm watching the second hand go around as I type this.

That is one great looking range, hope someone appreciates it.

I think the seller meant to price it $298. So they could of recouped their investment, on a Dollar can of Oven Cleaner. The Fridgidaire line always had the ZING, on design thats a given. alr2903

Pristine?

Gosh, do the write all those articles for FEMA on how great New Orleans now looks and how it really wasn't that bad?
I remember when my mom's 40" pink Imperial reached the end of its days (the French doors kept falling off) she insisted on cleaning it before they came to haul it away...
Frigidaire once stood for the best in commercial design.
Oh, and I, too, have seen one (1) running clock of that period. I mean, without it having been rebuilt.
So it's possible...wonder what stops them?

LOL

Congrats, Matt! *shakes hand* I'm pleased to have met the first ;-)

If the drain motor (full of grease-turned-Karo syrup) of the Dishmobile was any indication, they probably just solidify into crud, or the clock motors give out.
