1960's Kenmore combo

was the tech from Sears who maintained our combo. He'd come out twice a year for maintainance and always had whatever parts were needed right on his truck.He showed me all kinds of stuff regarding the mechanics and,the first visit,he spliced the drum light so that it too would light up when you set the program and started the machine.He specialized in these units.

Does anyone have any info, manuals, specs, mechanical drawings or know where to find some. I am becoming fascinated by these machines after seeing some of the members' wonderful collections and reading the replies. Also interested in the Whirlpool, Bendix Duomatic and the Westy Slant Fronts Combos.

I got mine off the dump pile

for zilch! And it still has taken 20+ years to get back into service, even with Johns help!

$1500 is LALA land
