LRE = 1967 model-year.

Serial seems to indicate manufacture 35th week of 1967.

i didn't think it was from the 50's

because there's no RCA marque....I'm getting better at this!

I have the matching washer to this dryer and I need to find a new home for it, so maybe someone wants a pair....

1967 must have been the first year Whirlpools were without the RCA label.

Good observation James this was the first year that WP major appliances did not carry the RCA insignia any longer.

This dryer would also be the first of the newer more efficient design for WP, so it would be a great performing but plain dryer.
