I've had this washer for maybe 6 months, working like new since I got it. When I was loading it yesterday, it started to beep randomly, as if I was pressing the start button. It ran the cycle fine, but continues to beep occasionally even if no one is near it. Hoping it's just a failing start switch or some dumb thing? There doesn't seem to be evidence the switche may have been splashed, no leaking evident on the floor either...

Neighbors of my mother have a TR5, several years of age. Mrs. Neighbor mentioned to me that it does random/repeated beeping after a cycle is finished ... until she whacks it atop the console.
