1965 Frigidaire Imperial Washer and Dryer.

Have a friend who is an antique/auction nut who always goes to estate sales and he found these at an auction of the contents of a nice mid century house in Dayton Ohio. They were sitting in the garage and look as if they hadn't been used in years but are almost mint and near perfect condition wise. Even had the manuals and sales brochures in the washer tub.

My friend got them and the matching wall oven, cooktop and fridge as well.

Looks like this person has several desirables or these have been moved to a collector's location.
The washer and dryer do look like they're in relatively good shape but the cycle indicator on the washer has slipped.

Also appears that behind the Frig washer is a Whirlpool combo and next to that a Philip's Duomatic.

Wonder what other goodies are hidden where these are all located.

That is my storage unit. The cycle indicator plastic just needs some glue. Will do that when I clean up the machines.

Good eye. There are two Duomatics and a Whirlpool combo in there as well.

Oh.....that beautiful rust-free tub and Deep Action space capsule agitator; all those cycle choices and dispenser on the console; the remote control knob.

That's a very nice set!

I wish I could grab such nice machines in that color!  The mid-1960's Custom Imperial machines are my favorites. And yours happen to be in my favorite color too!

Did you take more pics of the cooktop, the oven and the fridge?  I'd be curious to see them! The parts I see of the cooktop and the fridge make them older than your 1965 laundry appliances.
