I have a friend who is doing some updating in his home... and he has two appliances available, a Maytag washer and a Frigidaire wall oven, both in good operating condition and from approximately 1967. I don't know so much about washers, so I'll let you all inform me (and him!). He hasn't set a firm price, but he will be reasonable and realistic to a good home! They are available either in Buffalo NY (currently) or can be brought to and available in northern Virginia. Please let me know if you are interested.

i woud say......

the washer looks like an A108 (it's hard to tell how many buttons there are, in the picture) and since it has the gold "sunglow" lower panel, it would make it a later 1970's model. possibly a 1976?

But the wall oven is closer to 1967! It's a 1968 model but it could be from late 1967 or the early 1970s. I have one like it from 1970 but mine is harvest gold.

I wish I could find one like that but with brushed-chrome panels like the one below.

Five on the left, three on the right (water levels)...

could this possibly be an A108s (suds-saver)???

here is a picture of a regular A108 control panel.
you can see it has 4 buttons on the left. so if this washer has 5 buttons, maybe it is a "suds-saver" and only has 3 water temperature buttons & 2 "suds" buttons??

Thanks for the input... I have asked my friend to check whether there is a suds saver setting on the washer and will update when I hear back from him. I know he would like them to go to a good home!

On a few tags the wash and rinse temp buttons are separate- three wash, two rinse. Maybe that would be the case here. Not sure though since there are so many minute differences between their models.
