Help Support :

Who whould have thought that a brand new early 60's GE and a brand new '57 Kenmore washer would show their heads in Minneapolis within a few years of each other.

CRAZY!

Hope to see this washer someday. Got room for one more GE Robert? ;)

Fantastic!.....thats the model my mother had, although only 1 cycle, 2 wash/water levels, one speed........any idea of an exact year?....My mother got hers in 1964, when I was born, but I think hers was from a year or two earlier.....

who ever gets it, please post a few more detail pics please!

it's more like 1962, not 1972....this should be a V-12.....note also how the agitator vanes taper towards the top....and outstanding machine......beautiful!

Why are these pristine FF's always in Minneapolis/ St. P

OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG!

Yes, it's a 1962 V-12 oddball Suds Saver!!!! That there is a pimped-up version of the Filter-Flo washer that started it all for me!

I always wondered what this would look like. The base model would have been a WA755W; this model might have a slightly different number because it's missing the pedestals that would have raised the control panel. A very rare escutcheon: the suds saver toggle is a double-wide like on the 1961 model you gave me and they've just smacked it in there. It looks like there's even a special hose in that wash-basket for the suds saving tub. Previous year models had a rotary knob in the center of the panel between the toggles and the control dial. This is wonderful. Can't wait to see more pictures. If you decide you just don't have any available room for it, just whistle. God Bless people like these who don't just throw it away.

Smelling salts. I feel faint.
