Great job Chris! I’m glad you’ve got this old kenmore running as it should again.
My mother ordered the same model from Sears, On Sale, and it took about a month to be delivered, but it showed the same wear later on but still worked fine. The filter was always a pain to clean.

I may have mentioned it in an earlier thread, but my aunt and uncle had the original 1970 (built later 1969) version of this model. Glad to see you have it up and running again.
