1975 Coronado range-early flattop?

got this about a month ago after it had gone on disposal discount($10) at the 2nd hand store-originally bought with intent to just snatch parts off it,but too nice to junk,so stashed away in storage for now has white ceramic cooktop and late-1974 date codes.Wondering if this is one of the first flattop ranges?

Corning, which is really a dressed-up Frigidaire, introduced some years earlier would be the first...

The Corning Glass Company

Built the first ceramic cook-tops around 1967, they were CTs only, then around 1969 they had Frigidaire build them 30" SC ranges that CG installed their CTs and controls on.

 

Early ceramic CT usually used Corning Glass tops or Pittsburgh Plate Glass tops in the US.

Is the Coronado's cooktop still white? If not it would be interesting to see if the burned on stain pattern matches the spiral of a regular electric resistance surface unit whether sealed rod or open wound coils in a bed of firebrick. Corning had the ribbon elements.

cooktop is in nice condition-all white with no stains-I have also wondered what style elements this uses Like GE appliaces of similar era,color of painted surfaces does not quite match the porcelain-this range in HG BTW

This was probably a WCI (Gibson?) offering which was doubtless the highest price stove at Gambles...
