Nothing terribly special but for $50 I picked up this MOL GE Filter-flo mainly to harvest parts for my 1976 Dispenall. It just so happened to be paired with the matching dryer to the Dispensall, extra large capacity Americans dryer. the panel looks great. Haven't tested these yet but they were both being used until today. I'll be giving the dryer a good cleaning and maybe a paint job eventually. The washer should be good for parts, especially motor, tranny and clutch. The tub and clothes guard match the Disoensal as well. Not a bad deal!

Edison's learned this time...

Agi-tamers have been out of production since 1994. I sure coulda used one!

Seems like there's always at least a 1/3 chance that a tub bolt breaks off. I hate that! Time to get a screw extractor and hopefully save this one. The transmission looks really good and no leaks.

Jon, nice you could stumble upon a matching dryer to the washer you already have.  I'd like to see pics once you get them together.

Bob

Definitely pics to come. I'm still unable to free the broken tub bolt from the tub hub so not sure how I'm gonna manage that. I have a new hub I suppose I could attempt to replace. Unfortunately I don't have any manual that help me with GE tranny work. It'll be "learn as I go". Once the tranny is installed then the Dispensall will be usable.

I am stuck

Have this perfectly good transmission and it's essentially worthless because of one tub bolt. I drilled it and used an extractor and the extractor broke off inside it. I cannot penetrate the extractor. I have a spare tub mount but I don't even know how to get this old one apart. No manual I can find discusses the breakdown of the transmission. So frustrating...
