Does anyone have a resource where I can get a timer for this little beauty? It has a plastic tub with the bottom disc that is the agitator. The timer knob does not engage in its clicking motions as you turn it to the different cycles. You can pull the knob and stem out of the timer, push it back in and it works for one complete cycle than it does not click around again do another load of laundry. I hate to toss it because of this as it works so well other wise. Thanks in advance!

It's a tough little guy. It went to the crusher for the same timer issues, as you are having. When the portable GE badged (Sayno) was added to the home laundry graveyard in my basement, had to make some room. Thought the design was sweet on the Sanyo. Loved the clean look of the interior. Good luck with the timer issues, keep it if you can, or pass it along to another to play with. Ciao Launderall

I Can't do it!!!!!!

I just LOVE this little machine. It breaks my heart to have to let it go. It has been so usefull in being a back up for all my family members when their big machines had a problem. It is in pefect condition. The plastic top isn't even cracked.

Timer fixed

After some thought and wondering why the timer worked sometimes and not others and calling Sanyo to find out no moe parts area available..... I looked at the stem and realized the knurled part of the metal was worn. Hmmmmm! I got out a needle file and painstakingly filed each groove deeper. as I was doing this I knew it would work as the timer clicked ok but the knob would not advance it manually.
I put the knob and stem assembly back into the timer and YIPPEE!!!! Thats what it was!! Working good!!! for now!
