Sheet just got real...
tilted my first cabinet. The cool water went out on the Whirlpool and a YouTube vid
convinced me it was the water control/inlet valve. We have very hard water here so
I was certain it would be plugged up...no dice! So I dove in and opened it up. $35 later I had
A replacement unit ready to install. First I cleaned up 28 years of detritus and build up
and in went the new part. Tilting the cabinet back was a bit of a swear fest but I eventually
got it right.
That was yesterday so to day I thought to get into the dryer and have a look see.
Youtube informed me once more and a putty knife was put to work on those ridiculous-
Godforsaken clips they choose to use to hold the top on. Nothing exciting so after
a good vacuuming I was done. Or so I thought, as the video warned I might i dropped a screw
down the lint screen void. Pulled the back of the dryer in hopes of finding it but decided to simply
replace it and not risk screwing up anything else.
