I have a vivid memory from my childhood of my Grandmother ("Granny") tossing 2 Salvo discs in her Frigidaire washer while doing laundry. Always remembered that & have longed for a detergent like that as an adult.

Hail Salvo!!

We were a Salvo household when I was growing up. My mom loved the stuff. She used Dash until a free sample of Salvo arrived. From then on she dropped one tablet of Salvo into her Westy front loader...no measuring, no muss or fuss. I recall her saying how clean everything smelled when using Salvo.

I remember Mom using Salvo for years. I would see her toss them into the Whirlpool while doing laundry.

 

But then for some reason she changed her ways and started getting the big box of ALL for the general wash but would use ALL liquid if she was washing the darks.
