Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

peterH did a load here, but

I have to ask the question, Why are the dryers always ignored????? I never can firgure that out! Jeff kept all the dryers and clothes out of the way so the washers could prevail.

well, then they were caught right outside the kitchen door of the laundry machines!

Go Figure for yourself. What a nice Couple. SteveH and PeterH.

Let's just say, candy in a store

well well well, but while the Kenmore is doing it;s thing, the wife is enjoying Ms. PAC MAN. I think she (Helen) rathers the games and the machines. LAWD she knows what's best. You GO HELEN!

And I no longer own the Holy Grail from Missippi, It now belongs to Steve (Gyrafoam) both the washer and the dryer. Steve has done so much for me, and I would never get to these machines that I thought he should have them. Also, the 1957 control tower dryer is going to Steve1-18 and hope he enjoys it.

We did have a very nice time, by all who attended. There are many more pictures that could have been posted, but I decided to stop. We did have a show about a half hour before the final folks departure, but decided to keep that one private. The Queens of Comedy and the Last photos of the day will stay silent. (You Know who you are) You will have to come to Pensacola Florida to wittness it for yourself.

Thanks to all who made this happen.

Steve

And then, see the guy in the red shirt? Received a phone call about 7:30 pm Friday, as he was coming from St. Louis to Pensacola, as a friend of the AW.Org to buy an A806 from me. Rented a van, and got in a horrible accident on interstate 65 south due to a dog crossing the road. We could not beleive the story of how he was not injured and such a good sport about the whole oreal. He(Steve, helicaldrive) acted like nothing had happend. MY GOD protect each and everyone of you in your daily travels. That really made my face turn red.

OMG Thank you Lord for being there at the right time.

Steve

looks like you all had a great time there! You've got a nice garage there for displaying your washer collection....looks just like a minature laundromat. The interesting thing about dryers being ignored is insteresting. Both of my grandmothers never had dryers. One of my grandmothers had a 24 inch machine just like the one Jason is operating there in her kitchen. During the summer, she would dry the clothes outside, but during the winter, she would hang them up on a rack above the floor furnace grate.

Glad to hear he was alwright in the crash. How'd he end up getting the washer home without a truck to carry it in?

Uh oh!

Sounds like you're in a bit of twouble with Peter, Steve. :> Does Peter stay mad for long?

Check out that subtle little smirk on Gyrofoam's face as he is shrink wrapping his Frigidaire. Isn't it priceless? So he was aware all along that you were behind that glass door misbehaving.

Thanks again for everything. You and Jeff are the perfect hosts. I can't wait until you visit me in return.

Here it is!

The A806, installed in its new home, washing away oh-so-quietly and serenely, as only a classic Maytag can do. Next to it are the Limited Edition Dependable Cares I bought in 1998.

I don't think peterh is mad, but if he is, it will only last about a minute with him.

Steve, the machine looks fabulous in your laundry setup. Wanna sell it back! LOL Oh it is a classic for your enjoyment. I know I love mine. Glad it all came together for what was intended.

YAY!

Sunday morning was so fun with breakfast, Ms. Pacman, and the two lovebirds in the garage, and of course Baby Kenmo had me washin' the morning away.

I left my Akeelah and the Spelling Bee CD in your garage (the one with Rubberband Man, ABC, Respect Yourself, etc.) It seemed to work well with watching a classic Kenmore.

Jeff and Steve, your home and yard look beautiful from the photos you have posted. Thank you for sharing the fun that y'all had in the land of palms with the rest of us. We sure are thankful for Steven's divine protection in his moment of danger and that nobody else had any travel drama.

I'm still trying to deal with the Frigidaire service man buying a pair of Neptunes.

Thanks again, Tom

Jeff and Steve, excellent pictures and I'm sorry I couldn't be there to enjoy the festivities. Your garage looks fantastic, especially with those wonderful machines!

Jason, you look "at home" with the Kenmore as always. Did it have the "marbles" self-cleaning filter? The Avocado machine (RIP) had one, and it cracked and was leaking as well so I had to splice the hoses together. Shame that idiot would try to gouge you guys on an AIR GAP of all things, but in case you get another Kenmore with that problem let me know as I have a perfectly good tub ring/air gap I can send.

Steve B, your generosity is outstanding. Steve R, Steve 1-18, and Steve H, congrats on the A806, '57 Filtrator and '47 Unimatic!!!

And I can't wait to hear more about those DVDs...especially footage of the 2005 Convention, Texas wash-in, and this one! :)

Austin, I don't know alot about the self cleaning filter but it looks kinda like a beehive. It was all funkified as you can imagine. When I first started the machine it had a loud hum which quieted down as the loads went on and by the last load, the beautiful Kenmore whine began to come through like beautiful music. She gained he strength and was washing, spinning and fill/agitating just like a good Kenmore should.

Stay tuned. DVD's a-comin'. Wizard Productions has a neat Epson printer that prints labels right on to the DVD.
