Those LAT Performas were the last of the true, real Maytags.

We have that exact dryer! The MD6200 I've never seen a brochure or any literature on an exact machine I have. It's like finding my name on one of those keychains at the amusement park. Rare as hens teeth ;P

An LAT/3500-2500 would be ideal to find on the preowned market.. I wonder if there are any NOS hiding out somewhere...

There might be. It seems to me that there have been at least a couple of times when people here have acquired a never used vintage washer of some sort.
