Help Support AutomaticWasher.org:

A friend, who decided to remain nameless...

kindly posted my picture, after I sent it to him.

It isn't that I was hiding, as much as not knowing how.

Thank you again, dear anonymous person.

Louis <br
Thank you for you nice comments about my photo. :- <br
I mist say I was shocked at first, but I soon calmed down! ;- <br
As for your question, I am straight, but I honestly do not mind any nice comments from anyone. :-) In fact, I am deeply flattered wherever they come from. :-) I don't get out, so I've not had as much exposure as this before! LOL :- <br
Take care. :- <br
Regards <br
Carl :-)

When I said I was shocked and had to calm down, I don't mean in a negative way! :- <br

My first post <br
Me standing standing in front of my favourite appliance, the Miele laboratory washing machine.

My father worked an architect who designed laboratories. I used to love seeing the laboratory glassware washers and separate dryers. They needed major power and some accepted steam directly. <br
Apparently you can't have ANY residues on the glassware. These will otherwise be seen under a microscope! Kiling all mold/spores/germs is essential for good lab results, as well.

The options you have with these washers are almost endless. Acid washing, alkaline washing, washing with boiling water (very impressive to see the plume of steam coming from the vent in the door when doing this: a mini "Old Faithful" indeed. This machine is rated 10 kW so there is plenty of heat generated for steaming. It looks like a domestic dishwasher though.

and me!

Here I am on the deck of the, "S.S. Titianic", just before the iceberg hit <br
Luckily, there was a battery powered Hoover in the water and the rotating fan kept me afloat until help arrived.
