Fred and I are throwing a big Minneapolis Wash-In at our house on Saturday, May 15th 2010 -- from 4:00PM until 2:00AM or thereabouts (we're not pulling an all-nighter or an all weekend event, just a big Saturday night party and wash-in).

If you think you might like to join us and have not received the evite yet please email me at [email protected] and I will send you a formal evite invitation.

If you are planning on coming in from out of town, we have assembled a list of hotels within a stone's throw from the Airport and the Mall of America. All of which are only about 10 minutes from our house. Or you could go to hotels.com whichever discount travel site you prefer--and find your own. However, because of the proximity to the Airport, Mall of America, and our house -- we recommend staying in that vicinity. Plus the Mall of America is fabulous, if you've never been. Come a day early or stay an extra day and tourist-it-up (no sales tax on clothing/shoes in the state of MN!)

Snacks, finger foods, etc... will be provided (not a sit down dinner--there's not going to be room to sit down). We will also provide water, soda & probably one variety of beer... any other beverages you may desire, please bring your own.

Due to the fact that a lot of people may show up for this, for planning purposes, please respond to this e-vite no later than May 1st. If you can't make this Wash-In, fear not, we hope to do more of these in future so there will be another at some point!

Hope to see you there! If you have any questions please email us at [email protected] and [email protected].

Sure,

You would have to have this on "that" particular Saturday! I'm bummed that I already have plans for that day. Oh well, have suds o' fun! lol

I'm not worried, I know there will be other opportunities for us to meet. Safe and happy travels to all who will be able to make it.

Would love to be there and play with the washers and meet the others that will attend. Because of time constraints last year, I had to cut my visit short at your home. Luckily you did a load of wash in the Philco Bendix that fascinated me.

I would love to come Robert, and see that beautiful collection of your, but we will probably be moving (hopefully) into our new home. I will make it there sometime :-)

Audio Video of Wash In?

Although I cannot make it in person, I do look forward to a good audio/video clip of the event. Would love to hear descriptions of each machine in operation, the machines running, and any other humorous background sounds you wish to include. Have loads and loads of fun in creating this vid!--Laundry Shark

Ha ha ha!

I know Robert has better sense than that. However, if anyone here intentionally scrapped a WCI-58, I might have to do something terrible to them.

Oh yes, there would be consequences, terrible horrible consequences!
Dave

Really wish I could be there.
(I've never actually seen a GMFR in person before).

Let me see your feet.............

.

Is it me, or did I just hear all traffic SCREECH to a halt? LOL (Only bustin 'em!)

Andrew "Dice" Clay (Comedian):
"Are your names Neil (kneel) and Bob, or is that what you do?"

*SIGH*

"Little" Fred is known to many from the Vacuum club. Handsome, gracious, intelligent, abundant personality. Other than collecting VACUUM CLEANERS, (DUCKS AND RUNS SO FAST), no complaints.

But honestly Fred, there is only ONE way to dispell the "little" adjective. Stand next to me!

You both have managed to escape me at THIS wash-in, but wait 'till the next one.

:-)
