Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Built in ventilation duct from the cooktop was wonderful.  Well designed and built like a tank.  John has one in the museum - freestanding version with a storage cabinet below like a Frigidaire Flair.

Graceland has an electric Thermador cooktop and a (probably gas) Tappan Fabulous 400.

GAN,

If that is a Tappan 400 range, it's the first I've ever seen that the cutting board does not go all the way across. Look closely at the logo in the lower right corner. It looks like GE, or a W.
I though it was a Hotpoint Hallmark, because the refrigerator is a Hotpoint. No other had the large ice bin in the freezer door.

Yes it is an odd Tappan - may have been a made for (insert name) by Tappan, it doesn't have the familiar graphics on the oven doors either. The cutting board is curious as well. Always something interesting to see here.

I loved that HP refrigerator as a kid, always wanted one, or honestly any refrigerator with an ice maker!

If you notice that tube-shaped trim below the ovens, it has a scrolled opening. Air was blown out of that in a back-curving pattern and over the space under the ovens to be sucked into the grill at the back of the cooktop which had a filter behind it. Hotpoint was the only hi-lo range that came up with a complicated but successful design that did away with the steaming up of the oven doors if the exhaust system was used

This is also not the TOL model so it does not have the thermostatic Supermatic Unit to go give trouble.
