Oh, that's the oddball 30-inch model with a deep-well cooker! At least it's priced realistically - I am impressed the seller didn't use words like 'Never Used' 'Perfect' or the dreaded, 'Works fine but smokes and sparks when using oven or surface units'.... I've been reading too many craigslist ads these days!!

Ranges used the same oven liner as the 39 inch models , that way they could have a deep well cooker, which Westinghouse and Frigidaire did not have, this one just has a small storage space next to the oven, our 54 model had a small basket, the top of the line lighted pushbutton models had a broiler rotisserie , this is a 57 I think, this model had the so called automatic opening storage drawer, you bumped it with your toe and it sprang open, problem was every time you bumped it it flew open!! I had a deluxe 57, that drawer drove me nuts!

I saw a range like this in a thrift store in Sarasota decades ago in remarkably similar shape. I don't believe that Hotpoint had come up with a wide oven liner at this point. The deepwell heating element was the old fashion open wound coils in firebrick. There was another 30" model with just one door, and the narrow oven and a broiler compartment behind it. I wondered how much of a feature the separate broiler could be if it could not be used with the door opened to the broil stop if the oven was being used.
