Looks fantastic, Greg. Very cool. My folks had pink & grey boomerang on their counters when I was growing up, with stainless steel edging. You did an awesome job!

thanks guys .................

as much as people love the counters, I am getting even more compliments on that light. When its the only light in the kitchen on, it has a cool effect with the "holes". I love it too. This is the current stove I have opposite the sink. I am going to take a few other pics when I finish painting the walls the second coat.

ooooooh it's so shiny!

I LOVE your kitchen! I think you've done an excellent job. From the counter top to that fabulous light above your sink, and now I see this stove you have and I'm all melty. Beautiful.

I was thinking they must smoke their breakfast too!

I thought the white one posted here a few days ago was bad enough....but this one is even worse! turquoise, white, pink, green, rainbow freaking brite, I don't care what color or how old...that's just ridiculous
Although, I will give them this much, this range is really really clean inside and out, one of the better kept ones I've seen in some time. If there was a guarantee it was totally updated and safe as far as wiring, a collector might pay as much.
But I thought it would look fantabulous in Greg's kitchen. Not that the range he has in there now isn't lusty enough!

turq stove on ebay,

yea, great stove, I will find one, that price is ridiculous, thanks Bethann for your comment, your stuff is amazing too

HI Greg, Wow, what a cool kitchen! I love it! Was your house built in the 20's? Just wondering. Are the glasses you have in the metal frame in the cabinet, the silver leaf pattern that was found in Silver Dust detergent? I sure would love to have one of those GE push button stoves. Wish I was closer, I would drop by for a cup of tea. Gary

thanks Gary

house was built in '23 and no the glasses are from the '50's but not from Silver Dust det, (never heard of it). Have a good weekend.

Greg, Thanks for replying. Silver Dust was a detergent in the 60's I believe? I wonder if it was only sold in the midwest? We had white formica Boomerang counter tops at the high school until it was closed in 2001. All of those counters are gone too! Wish i would have gotten one. Pink and grey boomerangs on a white base. Have fun now. Gary

Greg, your kitchen looks so nice!! You have aure done a lot to your home since you moved in. I too remember "Silver Dust" we use to have about 6 of the glasses that came as a bonus when you bought it.LOL Not much of a bonus when you saw how much space the glass took up in the box. Terry
