Very Cool Norge Electric Range
Hi Hans, I only ever had the pleasure of seeing one or two of these neat ranges many years ago, I don't think Norge ranges and refrigerators sold all that well in the DC area.
The rust holes in the oven liner will not hurt the ovens performance at all [ gas ovens are full of holes that go all the way to the kitchen floor, LOL ]. I would keep the oven floor covered in HD aluminum foil, Tom and I always liked using the oven liner foil that WP sold for the floors of their continuous-cleaning ovens.
I would not attempt patching the holes with JB Weld or any other material that can not withstand at least 800F, which is what the oven liner gets heated to within an inch or so of the bake element, [ ever notice how electric ovens self-clean them selves right and under the bake element ? ]
