Here is a range I've only seen in pictures.

Both look to be in exceptional shape.

Oh,  is that one of the early 'cold pantry' refrigerators - very cool (pun intended)!    One came up in Ontario not so long ago,  but not with a matched range...

 

These are in great shape and how cool that they still have the manuals!  Can we ask them to send them to Robert for the new 'dispenser'??   LOL

If I had my own home, I'd LOVE to have the fridge. That's identical to the one we had when I was growing up. It was replaced in 1971 (by an avocado green Frigidaire) when we got ready to move.

There wasn't anything wrong with it when it departed.

One of those fridges,

a '56, was for sale here a couple months ago in exc cond and working for $100. The range is the 40" big brother to the 30" one in pink combo52 is saving for me.

Paul, the '56 fridge in Ontario is similar to that one but it has a separate door for the bottom freezer. I know someone else who also has one like that for sale.  He's the one who found the 1963 refrigerator I have. He got an email from it's owner who wanted to sell it. He didn't want it but he emailed me, knowing I'd be interested!

And this strange (but somewhat funny!) French-Canadian ad from the 1970's also shows a cheaper '56 at the beginning.
