Hey guys, I'm looking for a replacement bake element for my 1960 Frigidaire 30" freestanding range; looks like I used my spare previously. The parts catalog shows 6564003 (3kw) and 7531340 (2700w) as compatible. The elements for the 40", besides being too narrow, are also too deep; go figure, I've got a few of those.

If you have something, please reach out. Thanks! -Cory

Cory, if there's an independent appliance parts retailer in your area, call and ask if they can send elements out and have a new replica made.  I did that twice for the bake element on my mom's '49 Westinghouse.  The last time I ordered one was +/- 2005.  I walked into the sales area with element in hand and upon seeing it, the guy behind the counter exclaimed, "Westinghouse!"  Mom's stove had a new element two days later.

Hey John, the model is an RCI-39-60. I did goof on the updated replacement number, that should be 7524691. Here's a pic of the original. It measures approximately 19"w x 17"d (including connector).

7524691 does give me more options...and crosses to 5309950888. Therm-Coil shows they have a 2700w version (TC-975) for around $100. So I'll likely do that.

I also like Ralph's idea...Seems there are a lot of reasonably priced elements of similar size and wattage out there. Finding a way to spot-weld those Frigidaire blades could help keep a lot of these oldies going.

I am pretty sure I have that element. I can send you one, it was a pretty popular element and I have lots of elements that I will never use.

There's still a lot of heating elements hanging in the old modern parts store in Ohio too, it seems to be the one thing they didn't get rid of all of them, the only problem is they don't know how to identify them. You have to walk in there with the old element or know what you want.

I'll check tomorrow and see if I have it let you know.
