Apache Junction. That is a bit of a drive for me as well. About 30 miles as well. These are nice machines, even the color, but however they aren't special enough to stuff in storage or to move something else out.

If someone is intrested in them, I can pick up and hold. Let me know.

countryford...

I was about to send you a message about these and realized I am not a special enough member here to send direct messages! You're a good man to offer to pick up and hold....I am sure one of the members on this site will want these.

it always comes down to money, doesn't it?

I really ought to pony up with the cash....considering I lurked up here for years before even joining!

The fee is totally reasonable...

and VERY worth it for the great people, invaluable information and resources, etc. I gotta quit being so cheap :p

You are probably right. My guess was circa 1968-72ish based on what Kenmore stuff my family had at the time. I'm just glad that colour went away. Never did like it!

People who built the house next to our lake house, bought this set in white in late 1973/early 1974.  My best friend form high, his mom got the washer , to replace a 1960 Kenmore 80 alphabet washer.  It had the quiet pack and was very very quiet.  She got hers in the fall of 1973.  This model replaced the Kenmore 800 I believe.  It has a spotlight over the timer on both models.

Well Worth

The asking price to me. But it is the cost of transport the blows it out of the park.
