‘67?

Same model as the 1967 whirlpool I picked up a little while back. Very close cousin to the Kenmore 70 series I have as well. Nice machine!

I had a 67 like this a number of years ago.   Over the years, PhilR and I have had to do a few "renovations" to get refrigerators out of basements but ususally not with a washer...

I like the washer,would like to get it but what do you guys think? Is that all rust on the inside of the lid, top the washer and side? The back didn't look in that great of shape either for 300.00. If i'm seeing what i'm seeing isn't three hundred dollars a lot of money for that, in the kind of shape it's in?

Yes it’s a lot considering what would have to be done to it mechanically to make it dependable assuming you would want to actually use it and that it’s not too far gone to rebuild. And it all depends on how bad you want it as well. I’ve paid more than I knew something was worth on occasion because I really wanted it.

washer photos?

I really like the washer but the pictures bother me,I mean it looks bad but not like waste metal. I just bought a dishwasher a while back off of Ebay. It was a GE front loading portable. The pictures looked great! The tub was intact there was a little rust on the bottom in the front but that small spot didn't bother me. The racks looked good,over all it looked like it was in good shape. So I paid 250.00 for it and spent 300.00 to have it delivered. When I got it the tub in the back,not the little rust spot in the front, the one that was in the picture But there was a spot in the back that was huge.Just by looking at it you would know that it wouldn't hold any water. The top rack was all rusted and the bottom also but not so bad. The door wouldn't lock because there was no latch and the hoses were all cut. That was defiantly not the dishwasher in the pictures and in the posting they said they said they were using it.Well not the one I got because you could put your hand through the rust whole in the back. I wouldn't give that to my worst enemy. I'm hoping that I can at least use the inlet valve from it for my other GE dishwasher. So yeah I really like this whirlpool washer and it looks in a little bit ruff shape by the pictures. I just don't want to get it and find out some spots that make the machine look in a little ruff shape don't turn out to be doctored pictures like the dishwasher was. I've bought washers from this site and Ebay and everyone I've dealt with has been great to deal with.With that washer I'm wondering if those ruff looking pictures of it are making it look better than the shape it's really in. I don't know. What do you think?
