62 big button GE range

Hi everyone, I made arrangements to pickup a 1962 white GE electric range on friday. This has the big white pushbuttons along top of backsplasher. Also has:cooktop light,sensitemp,timed/normal outlets,looks real nice!! If interested,please reply to this thread,thanks,Walt

What a nice looking kitchen! It looks very relaxing and comfortable. You even got the stripping for the countertops right! That range looks very much at home in there.

62 GE update

Hello,Sorry for the delay in getting back to you,I did get it,but had to part it out due to a needed part no longer available. I do have some great parts,the sensi-temp 10 ohm sensor is no longer available. everything else on stove worked.I did save large white pushbutton switches if anyone needs. I am keeping a lookout for big button early 60s pushbutton ranges in case anyone is looking for one. I still have to use library computer,and have difficulty loading pictures from my digital camera. Have you seen this 40" GE on Ebay? Located in NY, complete with piano key controls, meat thermometer, griddle. It's a single-oven model from either 1957 or 1958.
