Well this is interesting. Started working on my '62 dryer to put her back into service. I'm doing a little rearranging and figured I'd hook it up. What I found interesting was that the timer motor was running as could be seen in the little inspection window on the motor cover..yet the timer wasn't advancing. Further inspection revealed non-factory terminal crimps suggesting this motor had been replaced in the past. Then the red flag: 1/30 RPM. Might take me a LONG TIME to get a load dry ; )
