68 Frigidaire matching washer and dryer for sale

Hello all,

I'd like to get rid of my 68 white frigidare washer and dryer set, the washer works perfect (and i already wired around the pesky lid switch) the only problem is the pump needs to be resealed the cork as it is leaking at the where the two pieces screw together thru the cork seal. Sometimes it leaks a little and sometimes not at all.

It is a two speed model without rapid-dry it does overflow wash and rinse (very cool indeed) the dryer is electric and I've not tried it as has the 4 prong electric cord.

Anyone interested in buying them?

I'd be willing to take them anywhere within a 250 mile radius of san diego ca or they can stay here for up to 2 months until picked up.

dryer cord

Where did the set come from originally? A 4 prong cord (separate ground/neutral) on the dryer is somewhat rare, I've only seen the 3 prong (grounded through neutral) cord, though I know some localities require teh 4 prong cord.

Salvation Army actually

I found them on my weekly trip to the salvation army, i was dropping off a bunch of ranges and saw them there. The washers water valve was stuck in the on position, i replaced the valve with a new stock one and that was it. They have been in my possesion for 6 months or so.

I've seen alot of the 4 prong ones in newer housing developments but I don't have one. Its pretty easy to swap out the power cord.
