Yep - 70s is right

That is a 1975 Kenmore 70 series to be exact. The '74s had that "balcony look" rim of controls at the top of the panel.

Interesting that the seller appears to have attached a much newer rear service panel onto this dryer. They DID NOT use those stickers with the safety orange headings on them in 1975, that's for sure. The panel itself is too short as well...reminds me of when I used to see large capacity belt-drive models on used appliance store sales floors with standard capacity agitators in them. Drove me crazy, lol...

Actually...

I noticed too and it looks like someone took metal shears or something like that and hacked off the top of the rear panel. You can see the jagged metal along the cut line. Makes me wonder just how... Correctly... The element change was done. Maybe the element was too long so they cut it to fit... Hmmm...
