We have recently bought a house and the previous owner has left the below machine and we were wondering whether it would be worth any money today or is it worthless?

Hi Sarah,

Its actually a quality machine and well worth keeping and looking after. It will last longer than any new Hotpoint!.

With regard to it being woth any money, sadly no, the reality is if its in working condition you may get 25 pounds or so for it but your really looking close to scrap value. :-(

I would buy it from you. But, alas the distance is too far but someone will buy it

Thanks betrum and HotpointFan, I think it will just go in the skip then with the rest of the stuff or I might try gumtree...we already have a washer dryer so it was not needed.

NOT FOR THE SKIP

Putting this thing in the skip is the last thing you want to do. If its working, than put the newer one in the skip, as this one will certantly last much longer.
