Okay, the clamps! I bought the machine 20 years ago when only the upper clamp was installed. There was a vertical crack near the top of the agi, and the clamp had been installed by Mister Kolopinski to stabilze and prevent further cracking. However my constant playing--placing the Norge agi inside the Faster Speed Queen, and retro-fitting it, among other tricks-- caused the crack to grow. So now It wants two clamps.

Robert--if that's an Easy where did the spinner go, ho ho ho, beloved Buddy?
I did a whole roll of film on Saturday: the garage twins GE & WP about to hibernate; making an older WP perform a Catalyst wash and a wobbling basket; Bob-loading the Whirl-aid, and more wringing+ an SQ. Some pix are shocking. I had no idea they'd come out that way. Where do you want them? Should I stagger them over a few days or roll 'em out. Ever yielding to your wishes.

If you look closely at the agi at 5 and 7 o'clock, you'll see long vertical oblongs through which water forcefully squirts, making tearing impossible. A better shot in the next batch of photos will make it clear.
