The horror story that made me do this!
The movers recked my new Kenmore Dishwasher, dented the door on the side, which I would notice because we take care of Sear's best,
the front base plate was dented and the pump assembly mangled. So I decieded to get the Kenmore Elite stainless steel Bosch look-a-like and boy
can I tell you that the only noise I can hear is the pump draining! Much quieter than my last Kenmore and load the same.
The front panel is just awesome seeing how the cycle progress, no numeric countdown, but removal of lines as it gets to the end.....

OMG That is a gorgeous kitchen!

I love your new dishwasher, far more stylish than anything on the market over here at the mo IMO!!

Love your stove too, wish there was cookers based on that style over here! :-D

Congrats on the new dishwasher, and thats a good sized load!

Dan

What a beautiful dishwasher and wow love your kitchen. Hope you have more inside shots of the rest of your home. I love the cabinets and the floor tile. Is that tile marble?

larry, that's the model which "replaced" mine and your "old" model--with the new HE wash system. Ironically, that wash system design was just coming out when you were looking for the "new" dishwasher and the description we gave you, you said the new design "scared" you. Magic Clean has that model in their condo, he got to do preliminary testing before it was introduced. I will be curious as to how extremely heavy food debris works iwth those filters.

Yeah, but Bob

. . . is it a Bobload? The first and last word on this issue always lies with you!

BobLoad

Yes & no. Yes, by how much was put in the machine. No, because they were dishes put in there to freshen up after being unpacked from moving. Plus, he used Light/china, which on this machine, because of the motor, is variable speed and has delicate spray patterns. Now, cramming it full like this with filthy, grimey, encrusted, starch laden stuff, you got a BobLoad de jour!!

Yeah, I thought those might be sticking points for qualification but it looks like a good effort. More soil and a little more cramming and you'll nail a Bobload for sure Larry. Do post a shot of your next attempt!

Larry, What beautiful kitchen! Have a lot of fun cooking in it. Mine is almost done. I will post pictures soon. I got the whole line of Electrolux Stainless Steel appliances. You cannot hear the dishwasher running, only a slight trickle of water when draining. A blue light shines on the floor when the cycle is done.

Ray and all thanks,
I just wished that the previous owners didn't cut corners to put the next owner into making major changes to what they have put in.
The work was somewhat shoddy, building cabinets around established old appliances, putting in new floors that does not meet the wall behind stove and dishwasher,
putting in back splash with the over the range microwave already installed. So all that nice granite on the wall will be damaged in order to replace MW.

It's my minor nightmare and I will wear garlic to fight off the last owners evil forces.....
At this time, no other upgrade will be performed until two years from now, I just want to rest and live in peace.....

Ray please post pictures of your Electrolux appliances!

Electrolux Appliances

Larry, Right now we are unloading box after box of kitchen stuff, dishes, glasses, gadgets. I cannot believe I have all of this stuff. lol I guess when you like to cook and back, these items are accumulated. So....as soon as this is done, I will post pics. However, the backsplash is not done yet. We have to order the tiles, but I guess I can at least post pics of the Cherry cabinets and appliances and the wood floors. Have to order the glass for the cabinets over the peninsula. I also did lighting in these cabinets since they will also have glass shelves, and I also had under the cabinet lighting installed under all the wall cabinets.

Larry, In the first picture of your kitchen....Is that the way it came with the house, or did you make some other changes besides replacing the dishwasher?

Thanks,

Ray

Ray,

The only thing that I've done was replaced the appliances and changed all the bulbs in this house,
everything remains the same. too tired to go through anything else.......
And I do agree, we have so much kitchen gear that I cannot believe that we accumulated over the years!

Larry, I wish you all the luck and happiness in your new home. Would love to see it some day. If you are going to be in the Jersey area, let me know. I am off Exit 12 of the Turnpike. I am working in Brooklyn now for 2 years, the BayRidge section.

Ray

Ray, we were very close work-wise, I worked in Bay Ridge and then recently transfered to Manhattan,
If I knew, we could of had breakfast together......
Lets see after the new year if we can have a cup of coffee from one of your vintage pots!

Hi Larry. Well....Isn't that something? I always thought that your worked in Manhattan. I work for Metropolitan Jewish Health Syste, (Elderplan). Elderplan is the Medicare plan for the NY area. Its Medicare and a supplementary insurance.

After the holidays would be nice. I do have a lot of vintage coffee pots. Peteski comes to visit. Maybe we can plan something. You are welcome to come anytime. This way you can see the new appliances, my LG washer and Dryer also.

Hope you have a nice Thanksgiving.
