A Christmas present

So I figured I would share with the group an amazing present that Evan got me, He did not tell me where we were going today, just that I needed to get out of the house, I am recovering from surgery. So we wound up in West Bend, he took me into the ReStore there where I found a matched set of Maytag 906's, I discovered that they had been sold earlier that day and had been placed on hold. Just as I went to walk out the door he told me not so quick we need to take home that pair that had been sold.

I have gotten the washer up and running it needs a new lamp for the dash and a starter. The dryer still needs to have a 220vac outlet wired in for it, but they did say that it worked when they tested it at the store.

Wow, a matching set too. Please post up the serial #'s for us to decode. Not too many of these out there, even back when they were new!

Since the second dryer got on here..... I figured I would share the other washer as well... It is a Maytag commerical line

Its interior.... this has a sorted history, it came from a retired hospital, and it was given to us. This was one of two machines that started me down the line of collecting

The serial numbers of the 906's are

Dryer: 755261KM

Washer: 400658KK

I am not 100% sure if they are a matched set, but I was told they came from the original owners who passed away.
