Now this may sound silly to some but the other day I was in my local grocery store and yes I wasa pinching pennies as usual. I ran across for 77 cents for the bar, what was called "ZOTE" laundry bar. It did not even have directions for it's use on it. So I passed up on it but at 77 cents I say yes to it but I need some advice on how to use the stuff. Wouls love to give it a try if its its anything to it. Someone here please enlighten me.

Zote is nothing more than laundry soap imported from Mexico, where using bar soap for laundry still remains very popular.

One uses Zote the same way one would use Fels Naptha or soap flakes; either grate it up and disslove in hot or warm water, or rub the bar over wet laundry to "soap" it as in hand washing.

Using soap for laundry is not generally recommended as it can cause more problems than it solves, especially with hard water.
